What is the Good2Go Programme?
Good2Go is a seven‑week mental health curriculum built around a set of short, engaging videos in which young people present and teach the 12 Decider Life Skills directly to primary school pupils. These skills help children:
- Recognise and manage emotions
- Build resilience and confidence
- Make helpful, skilful choices
- Strengthen mind–body awareness
- Develop a shared language for wellbeing
The programme is flexible and can be delivered through whole‑school assemblies, classroom sessions, or small‑group interventions.

Interested in implementing The Decider Skills in a secondary school?
While the Good2Go videos are primarily designed specifically for primary settings, secondary schools can benefit from the full Decider Life Skills approach — a flexible, whole‑school framework that helps young people develop emotional intelligence, resilience and skilful decision‑making.
How The Decider Skills Work in Secondary Schools
We recommend that at least two lead teachers or key wellbeing staff complete the Decider Life Skills online training. Once trained, they introduce the skills to colleagues and coordinate how the programme is embedded across the school.
Secondary schools typically deliver the skills through:
- Whole‑school or year‑group assemblies
(Two skills per week for seven weeks — with Week 1 covering the introduction and The FIZZ) - Tutor time or PSHE lessons
- Curriculum‑linked activities
- Targeted small‑group interventions led by pastoral, SEMH or EBSA teams
The skills are then reinforced during everyday lesson time and through consistent language used across the school community.
Resources for Secondary Schools
To support effective delivery, we recommend purchasing:
- Two spaces on The Decider Life Skills online training, which includes The Decider Life Skills Trainer Manual (additional copies can be purchased here)
- Student handbooks for individual learners
- Posters and visual prompts for classrooms and corridors
- Full access to our online resources, including videos, activities and guidance for staff, parents and students
This approach is adaptable, evidence‑based and cost‑effective, making it suitable for a wide range of secondary settings — from mainstream schools to SEMH provisions, alternative education and pastoral support teams.
Good2Go Programme FAQs
Can the skills be taught remotely?
Yes. All videos can be shared via Zoom, Teams or other livestream platforms. Students can also access animations and resources through our online webapp.
Is Good2Go suitable for small‑group interventions?
Absolutely. Schools can use the programme for targeted groups such as pupils with SEMH needs, EBSA, or those receiving pastoral support.
Can parents access the resources?
Yes. Parents and carers can access explanatory videos, the webapp, and downloadable materials to support learning at home.
Is the programme appropriate for secondary schools?
The Good2Go videos are primarily designed for primary school ages. Secondary schools can use The Decider Life Skills whole‑school model, which includes assemblies, teacher training and adaptable resources.
Do all students need their own handbook?
We recommend one handbook per student so they can practise the skills at home and in school. Additional handbooks can be purchased separately.
How long does the programme take to deliver?
The core programme runs over seven weeks, but the skills can (and should) be revisited and embedded throughout the year.
