For 17 of the young people, The Decider Skills was the only CAMHS intervention.

Outcomes show a reduction in scores for depression and mental health symptoms.

North of Scotland CAMHS

Feedback from a 2 day workshop attended by CAMHS professionals & from young service users. The Decider has since "become embedded in the Inpatient Unit and proved to be very popular with the young people with a good regular weekly attendance. This is a fairly new group but has been measured using the DERS 18 questionnaire which measures aspects of emotional regulation. The results of the group are promising"

Pupil Wellbeing Ambassadors in MHST Cornwall & Isles of Scilly

Sarah Sejahtera, Children's Wellbeing Practitioner, shares how The Decider Skills is being implemented across parts of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Wellbeing Ambassadors (selected Year 5 pupils) are trained in The Decider Skills and supported to introduce the Skills to their school in their own way.

Guernsey Childrens' Services - Building Confidence and Shared Language in Mental Health Practice

During 2015, all staff of Guernsey's Childrens' Services were taught The Decider Life Skills. Eight one‑day Decider Life Skills workshops brought together 110 professionals supporting children, young people, families and carers to strengthen confidence in mental health practice. Participants described the training as engaging, memorable and transformative, with many noting immediate relevance for both their work and personal lives.
